Chris Burchett

Chris Burchett is the Senior Vice President, Generative AI at Blue Yonder where he is responsible for developing and executing the company’s generative AI strategy. As part of this role, he and his team work with Blue Yonder customers to develop AI agents that meet their needs and work in complement with their Blue Yonder solutions. Prior to this role, Chris led Blue Yonder’s platform engineering initiatives, driving the modernization of SaaS applications and fostering a DevOps culture. He supported the company's digital transformation by leveraging Microsoft Azure and Snowflake to improve and expand Blue Yonder's native SaaS platform and solutions. Before joining Blue Yonder, Chris was Vice President for Client Security Software Engineering at Dell, overseeing the engineering and delivery of the Dell Client Enterprise Software solutions. Chris joined Dell through the acquisition of Credant Technologies, where he was Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer responsible for all aspects of product strategy, technology and delivery. Prior to founding Credant, Chris served as Director of R&D for i2 Technologies (now Blue Yonder), leading teams in developing supply chain planning applications. He began his career at E-Systems (now Raytheon), developing real-time embedded systems using AI for top-secret projects. Chris has a bachelor’s in Computer Science from Texas Tech University and a master’s in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University. He volunteers with numerous charities, including Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, New Life Children's Home Honduras, and Project Rescue, and also serves as a board member for Fellowship for the Performing Arts. Chris lives in Dallas with his wife of 35 years. In his free time, he enjoys building and flying racing drones, vibe coding whatever comes into his head, participating in fitness activities, and playing the piano.
