About
Filip Kaliszan is the chief executive officer and founder of Verkada. Since its founding in 2016, Filip has spearheaded the organization’s growth and product development. A builder at heart, Filip created CourseRank, his first startup, alongside two of Verkada’s other co-founders, James Ren and Benjamin Bercovitz, as a sophomore at Stanford. Filip and his partners sold CourseRank to Chegg.com in less than four years. After the acquisition, Filip spent four years as a Director of Product Management at Chegg. Filip holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in computer science from Stanford University.
