As the Chief People Officer at Brown & Brown Insurance, I am committed to developing and executing our holistic teammate experience, which is designed to ensure well-being and happiness, reward and recognition, and continuous growth opportunities within a high-performance-driven environment. I am proud of my ongoing leadership efforts to instill a positive workplace for more than 16,000 teammates worldwide, which has contributed to significant company successes, including Brown & Brown being named a Great Place to Work® for four consecutive years (beginning 2019). I have over 20 years of executive leadership experience in the insurance industry, specifically as a business operator in the property and casualty space. This boots-on-the-ground experience has helped me understand and anticipate the needs of customers and teammates alike. Before my role as Chief People Officer, I served as Chief Operating Officer for Brown & Brown’s Absence Services Group, leading a team of over 550 that was responsible for growing business operations through organic and targeted acquisitions. I have a people-centric leadership style and value people above all other assets. As a seasoned business professional, I recognize the return on investment that comes from coaching leaders and acting on the feedback of the broader team. Outside work, I enjoy fulfilling my passions for yoga, meditation, travel, personal development and the outdoors.
