Reena Patel, Ph.D. is Global Managing Partner and leader of DSG Global’s Consulting Practice, where she guides the firm’s strategy and growth. She brings a rare combination of corporate leadership, global business expertise, and entrepreneurial acumen, helping organizations navigate transformation with clarity, inclusivity, and lasting impact. Reena’s career spans senior executive roles in technology, media, and consumer brands. At Playboy Enterprises (PLBY Group), she served as President of International and COO of Global Licensing and Joint Ventures, overseeing the company’s global brand monetization across licensing, gaming, digital products, and third-party retail. Previously, as Vice President of Global Licensing at International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), and in earlier roles with Merrill Lynch and Sun Life Investments, she developed a reputation for building high-performing teams, scaling businesses, and unlocking new growth opportunities at the intersection of innovation and strategy. At DSG Global, Reena is leading the Consulting Practice through a period of intentional evolution and broadening advisory capabilities in leadership, technology, and organizational transformation. She is particularly passionate about embedding innovation and inclusion into business strategy, ensuring that organizations not only adapt to disruption but also thrive in it. Reena also contributes to thought leadership at the intersection of international business, governance, and technology. She completed her Ph.D. in International Business at the International School of Management in Paris, where her doctoral dissertation explored The Impact of Anti-Money Laundering Policy on Corruption, Cybercrime, and Economic Stability in India. Her research on post-acquisition integration has been published in the ISM Journal of International Business. She also completed executive training at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation, with a focus on diplomacy and international negotiation. Beyond her executive and academic work, Reena serves as Board Chair of the Lycée International de Los Angeles and advises AI-based startups. She is a sought-after speaker on leadership, innovation, and organizational change, bringing both rigor and humanity to conversations about the future of business. Reena holds a B.Sc. in Basic Medical Sciences from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Plymouth State University, and a PhD in International Business from the International School of Management in Paris. She lives in Los Angeles with her partner, two sons, and two dogs.
