Shashank Chaurasia

Shashank is the co‑founder and Chief AI Officer of MooresLabAI, where he builds generative‑AI tools for silicon engineering. With more than a decade at the intersection of semiconductors and AI, he is advancing how chips are designed, verified, and brought to market. Previously at Microsoft Azure, he led the initiative of utilizing LLM and agentic‑AI for the design and verification of complex chips. He was also a core contributor to Microsoft’s Maia 100, the company’s first in‑house accelerator for large‑scale training and inference. Earlier, he worked on Tesla’s FSD chip and Autopilot compute subsystem, and held engineering roles at NXP and Freescale developing vision accelerators and ADAS systems. Shashank holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and Bachelors in Electronics from Manipal Institute of Technology. He envisions a future where AI compounds human ingenuity and prosperity.
