About

Tim Maleeny is President of Agency Solutions and Chief Client Strategy Officer for Quad, a leading marketing solutions company. Prior to joining Quad's leadership team, Tim held a variety of leadership roles across the marketing industry, including President and Chief Innovation Officer for Havas, Head of Strategy for Ogilvy, Executive Director of Brand and Marketing Strategy at R/GA, and Managing Partner at Deloitte. A true hybrid, Tim has also worked as a copywriter, producer, and new business director over the course of his career. And with a degree in computer science, he's a technophile at heart who's been relentless in expanding agencies' digital and CX capabilities. Tim is known for driving record new business growth and building award-winning cultures wherever he goes. As a strategist, his campaigns have won at Cannes, WARC, Effies, and the Jay Chiat Awards. He pioneered a narrative approach to integrated campaigns, which makes sense since he’s the bestselling author of six novels and multiple award-winning short stories. The comedic thriller JUMP was called “a perfectly blended cocktail of escapism” by Publishers Weekly, and his latest novel Hanging The Devil received a starred review from Library Journal for its “relentlessly fast-paced plot and delightful dry humor.” Always active as a mentor across the marketing community, Tim connects great people wherever he finds them. This will be his ninth year as a mentor for Women-in-Power, the cross-sector fellowship sponsored by 92Y, and he was named a Talent Champion by the ANA's educational foundation. Tim lives and writes at an undisclosed location in New York City.
