I'm equally passionate about helping leaders live and lead with intention and create extraordinary workplace cultures. My personal journey of owning my purpose and experiencing joy in life is the thread that runs through my latest book, “This Is the Thing: About Life, Joy, and Owning Your Purpose,” which debuted as an Amazon bestseller in 2025. It builds upon insights in my first book, “Fostering Culture: A Leader’s Guide to Purposefully Shaping Culture,” which chronicles my early years of leadership and the foundational beliefs that have guided Jackson Healthcare’s growth and evolution over the past decade. I also have shared perspectives on leadership, workplace culture and living with purpose as a contributor here at Fast Company and also Forbes, as well as on my own platform, ShaneJackson.com. Beyond writing, I have the privilege of connecting with audiences nationwide as a keynote speaker, helping individuals and organizations navigate the path to greater impact and fulfillment. Outside of my role at Jackson Healthcare, I serve on various boards and as co-founder of the leader-led goBeyondProfit business initiative that promotes the belief that giving back is good for business.
