About

Ziver Birg – entrepreneur, investor, and executive chairman of ZIVELO – has been making waves in the self-service technology industry for over 15 years. At the age of 18, Ziver and his brother founded their first company, www.affordablekiosks.com, and changed the way self-service kiosks were sold by introducing the first marketplace where buyers could compare the pricing of the top kiosk manufacturers’ products and purchase them online. Over time they saw an opportunity to refresh the kiosk industry so they changed the name of the company to SLABB and began manufacturing their own kiosk designs in Taiwan and the Netherlands. Never settling, Ziver revised the product line 5 times to improve upon product quality, aesthetics, brand continuity, and to incorporate a patented future proof design concept. To introduce his revolutionary new designs, Ziver launched ZIVELO, a kiosk manufacturing brand based in the US that has become the leading manufacturer of self-service kiosk and digital signage hardware with clients ranging from the Fortune 100 to nearly every branch of the US government for over 40 market sectors worldwide. Driven by his passion to help others, Ziver established the ZIVELO Foundation to promote social, economic, and environmental development and relief worldwide. Ziver is a partner and active member of the Young Entrepreneur’s Council, a NPO that promotes entrepreneurial mentorship. In 2011, 2012, and 2013 Ziver was recognized in a ceremony at the White House by the Kauffman Foundation as an Empact100 honoree, adding his name to a list of the top 100 entrepreneurs in America under the age of 30 for three consecutive years. In 2012 Ziver was inducted into Inc. magazine’s ‘30 Under 30’ list of top entrepreneurs and was featured in the print magazines cover story as one of the 'Seven Rising Stars You Have to Meet'. in 2013 he was also recognized by Forbes as a ‘Top Ten Job-Creating Young Entrepreneur’. In 2015 he started to land some exclusive contracts with McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Taco Bell and others and subsequently sold his company to Verifone, Inc in 2019. He is now focused on Turbulence, a stealthy start-up focused on disrupting the geometry of for-profit and non-profit businesses.
