Catherine Connelly is Co-Founder and SVP, Marketing for The Meet Group, which owns dating apps including MeetMe, Tagged, Skout, and GROWLr. In 2020, The Meet Group joined forces with Parship, to become the ParshipMeet Group, after being acquired by ProSiebenSat.1 and General Atlantic for approximately $500 million, and now powers many of the world’s top social apps via its livestreaming video and creator economy solutions. Connelly was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner for the Philadelphia region (2011) and serves as both a Council Member at Women in Dating, the organization to drive meaningful change toward a diverse and inclusive dating industry; plus an Advisor for the Think Tank, Oasis Consortium, which aims to advance ethical standards across three core pillars: safe online communities, data privacy, and diversity and inclusion. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSBA, Operations and Information Management & Marketing (with a minor in Psychology) from Georgetown University.
