Dave Meeker plays a dual role at Dentsu – As America’s practice Lead for Experience Design & Innovation as well as the Global Chief Innovation Officer across all of Dentsu’s creative agencies. Meeker’s hybrid background spans business, design, and technology, and gives him a unique perspective on the complex challenges brands face in today’s technology-enabled, customer-first marketplace. With over two decades of experience working to uncover, understand and advise on emerging technologies and trends and how a design-led approach to customer and brand experience leads to commercial innovation, he has helped many well-known brands create new opportunities for growth. Having worked across industries and markets, Dave brings a broad understanding of enterprise Innovation to the table, - from leveraging powerful new experience technologies to disciplined design-led processes that help organizations navigate scalable innovation – from identifying risks, opportunities, and ways to approach the application of innovation to their strategy, operations as well as product and service design. Meeker represents Dentsu’s creative agencies within Dentsu Next, Dentsu’s global innovation offerings and serves as the head of the Isobar NowLab, a global initiative to catalyze innovation across all of Isobar’s global markets. Additionally, oversees the company’s collaborative relationship with the MIT Media Lab. As Consortium members, Dentsu’s team is front and center in various Media Lab programs aimed at invention and innovation across the experience landscape. Dave’s unique background and skills have led to work with brands across the globe, working with client teams to structure and deliver on innovation programs for clients that include Cisco, ViacomCBS, HBO, the US Air Force, Intel, GM, and others. Meeker, who was named as one of Campaign Magazine’s 40 over 40, has had his work awarded by many organizations including the Webby Awards, The Clio Awards, The Hatch Awards, Ad-Age Project Isaac Awards, Fast Company, and even the Cannes Lions International Festival of creativity, where he received the esteemed Grand Prix for digital craft in 2018.
