While at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in San Francisco, he was a management consultant and core member of the Energy and the Operations Practice with a focus on distributed energy resources, renewable energy and utility transformations. Diego has been a speaker at several international conferences in the U.S., Europe and South America, holds a Doctoral degree and a Masters degree at Harvard University, and is a Fulbright alumni.
