Ed Hallen is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Klaviyo, a unified customer platform that gives online brands direct ownership of their consumer data and interactions, empowering them to turn transactions with customers into long-term relationships—at scale. He is passionate about building companies that solve problems and helping others do the same. Prior to founding Klaviyo, Ed spent almost six years at Applied Predictive Technologies where he met fellow Klaviyo co-founder Andrew Bialecki and led product management for the SaaS application, where he helped expand the firm in the United Kingdom and Europe. He then joined Google in their enterprise business development before founding Team Engine, a text-first HR and operations platform for industrial SMBs. Ed earned his bachelor’s degree in systems engineering and government from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management.
