John Vernon is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of DroneUp, an American technology company that combines airspace solutions, software applications, analytics platforms and a trusted team of industry leaders to help companies operate at scale with drone innovation. Clients and partners include Walmart, Brookfield Properties, Quest Diagnostics, and NATO Allied Command. Previously, Vernon was the COO of Web Teks, the digital transformation company providing leading-edge enterprise technology solutions to Fortune 500 firms, which was acquired by DroneUp. He sits on the Advisory Board of ConnectWise, and served on the BVLOS Advisory Rule-Making Committee (2021) at the Federal Aviation Authority [FAA].
