Laura Hale is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Ladder, the award-winning life insurtech helping more people get covered in an instant, easy, and affordable way. She is passionate about closing the $16T coverage gap, and believes protecting your life is just as important as building it. Prior to co-founding Ladder, Laura was the first employee at Ebates. She started her career in finance, working as a private equity investor with Robert M. Bass and The Carlyle Group, as well as focusing on mergers and acquisitions at James D. Wolfensohn Incorporated. She received her BA from Wellesley College and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
