About

I am an investor, domain expert, and defense strategist with a passion for cutting-edge technology. Drawing upon my multifaceted background in tech and advisory roles spanning nearly a decade across D.C., I see my role as shaping the landscape for the next-generation defense industrial base. Prior to Disruptive, I spearheaded the pioneering research endeavors in emerging technologies at H4xLabs, concurrently steering the strategic management of the space portfolio. My journey as a defense contractor, where I led diverse teams and provided strategic counsel to leadership on an array of subjects encompassing cybersecurity, technical operations, and the intricate interplay in defense interoperability, has seamlessly paved the path for my pursuit of driving defense modernization through the prism of emerging technologies. I received my M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University with a specialization in Macroeconomics. While in Hong Kong, I did research work on Chinese politics through King's College in London. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Texas at Austin in Corporate Communications, with a minor in Arabic. P.S. I love being multilingual and love bringing my culturally diverse background to the world of Defense Tech. (native proficiency in Bengali and Intermediate Arabic (Shaami & Modern Standard Arabic) and conversational Mandarin)
