I am founder and CEO of Infinium, a climate tech disruptor and producer of Infinium Electrofuels. Electrofuels are a breakthrough synthetic fuel designed to dramatically reduce carbon dioxide emissions produced by trucks, planes, ships and chemical manufacturing processes over traditional fossil fuels. Backed by investors including Amazon, NextEra Energy, AP Ventures, SK and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, we are a mission to decarbonize the world. Prior to founding Infinium, I was co-founder and CEO of Greyrock Energy, a leader in small scale gas-to-liquids conversion technology that enables conversion of resources such as flare gas, RNG and stranded natural gas into premium low-carbon chemicals, fuels and other products. Ten years of R&D and successful fuel production at Greyrock became the inspiration to launch Infinium in 2020 to focus on Electrofuels. I remain Board Chair of Greyrock today. My passion for climate technologies took hold starting in 2005 at the Renewable Energy Institute, working on program partnerships with the DOE, Sandia National Labs and other collaboration partners to study and demonstrate unique fuel production from renewable materials. That work ultimately became the inspiration to found Greyrock. The first company I started was Digitella Technology—later known as Workstation.com—which was a digital media SaaS platform. I sold the company in 2001, and later sold a portion of the portfolio to LG. I began my career at Accenture working on digital media and also spent several years at EMC’s emerging technology group. I hold degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan as well as a Computer Engineering Specialty from the University of New South Wales. I have published numerous technical papers relating to new energy systems, industrial process control software, catalysis and process technologies and have been awarded a number of US and international patents. In addition to my work as Board Chair at Greyrock I also serve as an advisor for a materials company working on electrolysis, fuel cells, and next generation batteries.
