As COO, CIO and resident comic book enthusiast, Timothy Wenhold is responsible for all aspects of technology for Power Home Remodeling’s high-growth-mode company that is transforming the home remodeling industry. After turning down a collegiate scholarship at the age of 18, Wenhold started his entrepreneurial career. He founded numerous companies, one of the most notable being Sintaks, which he later sold it to Canon. In 2007, Power became a client of Wenhold’s systems innovation company, Data in Motion. In 2012, Wenhold joined Power full time and is currently responsible for both the business operations and all aspects of technology, including NITRO, Power’s unique, state-of-the-art collaborative intelligence platform that enables seamless, real-time communication across Power’s 18 offices and more than 3,000 employees. Wenhold is focused on innovating for the future, continuously developing the technical strategy and human capital to support Power’s rapid growth. He oversees a diverse U.S. based staff, as well as an international team of creators, including developers, engineers, and designers. Under Wenhold’s leadership, technology has been integrated into Power’s cultural fabric, creating a true digital identity across the entire company.
Even something as small as a name change has the power to kickstart a whole new level of appreciation, understanding, and empowerment for technology departments.
