For Fast Company Executive Board member Ziyi Gao, it’s important to recognize that when it comes to changing a habit, progress isn’t linear.
Reframe is an app that helps people reduce or stop drinking alcohol through healthy habit formation. Developed by two Georgia Tech engineering alumni in conjunction with expertise from doctors and mental health experts, Reframe takes a scientific approach to alcohol reduction and sobriety. Reframe helps people create healthier drinking habits, track those habits and bond with other people on a similar journey in an online community where they can give and receive support. Reframe was launched in 2020 and was a member of Y Combinator’s summer 2021 cohort. To date, it has been featured in various news outlets, including TechCrunch, 6abc.com and the Los Angeles Times.
