Will Conaway is the Chief Growth Officer for the HCI Group, a Tech Mahindra Company. Will is an award-winning CIO and Technology Executive at large healthcare systems, specializing in strategy and growth, and has extensive experience as an executive leader in healthcare, organizational strategy, organizational operations, negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, leadership, quality assurance initiatives, international business, information technology and transformation, consulting, and delivery. Will is recognized for his continuing contributions to strategic planning, growth and innovation in healthcare, and is a highly sought-after SME speaking at universities and tech councils across the country. He was the keynote speaker at the Cornell University's August 2019 ILR School's EMHRM Graduation, and the featured speaker at Kansas State University in October of 2019. Will was a panelist at Harvard Business School's and athenahealth's roundtable on the state of healthcare and technology in the United States in December 2019 and was the emcee and moderator for the CIO and CISO Southern California Summit in March 2020. Will served on the Board of Governors at the Federation of American Hospitals, the Federation of American Hospital’s Technology & Cyber Committee, Manifest MedEx Advisory Committee (HIE), AT&T's Healthcare Advisory Council, Verizon's Healthcare, Insurance and Life Sciences Customer Advisory Board, and a member of the American Heart Association 2020 ELT. He was the Chair of Kansas State University Psychology Sciences Alumni Advisory Council 2020, and a member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. Will is a two-time recipient of Constellation's Business Transformation 150 (BT150) award (2019-2020 and 2021-2022), and Becker's Hospital Review's 100 Hospital and Health System CIOs to Know for 2019. He serves on the Forbes Technology Council and is a member of the Fast Company Executive Board and the AEHIT CHIME Board. Will has appeared in leading industry magazines.
